Forget basic designs—this one actually flies!
Start with a standard sheet of paper. Fold it in half lengthwise, then unfold. Fold the top corners to the center line.
Fold those angled edges to the center again, making a sharp point. Fold the plane in half, then fold each wing down about half an inch from the center.
Add a small upward fold at the back of each wing (this is called an elevator). Throw it smoothly, not hard.
With practice, this design can soar across an entire room!
